On-Campus Involvement

Society of Physics Students (SPS)

August 2019-Present

The Society of Physics Student is an organization of students who are interested in physics. The club offers a ton of opportunities, ranging from trips to national physics conferences to bi-weekly game nights. I have been President for SPS this year, and that has given me the opportunity to hone my leadership capabilities. I've organized numerous events this semester, including movie nights, NASA launch watch parties, a trip to Washington D.C., and more! The club has been extremely successfully in the Fall of 2022, and we are looking forward to the Spring!

Society of Physics Students National Council

Associate Zone Counselor for Zone 2: August 2022 - Present

I have had the honor of serving as the Associate Zone Counselor for Zone 2, NY and Quebec, this year! This has been a great opportunity, as the Associate Zone Counselor is the representative for the Zone's Society of Physics Students chapters on the National Council. I have been a voice for schools all over the Zone, advocating for us in SPS' council meetings. I also have been encouraging and facilitating communication between chapters in the Zone, and we will be hosting a Zone 2 Meeting in Rochester in the spring.

Astronomy Club

January 2020-Present

Astronomy club has been operating remotely extremely well, hosting multiple nights where professors gave talks about exciting things in research. However, due to COVID-19, we haven't been as active as we would like.
